2004-Apr-15: netfilter/iptables project is granted preliminary injunctin in GPL infringement case
The free software project netfilter/iptables continues their
series of successful GPL enforcements.
At this time, the netfilter/iptables core team was granted a preliminary
injunction against the German subsidiary of Sitecom.
The court acknowledges that the license terms of the GNU GPL are not fulfilled,
and Sitecom has no right to distribute netfilter/iptables based products without fulfilling the conditions set forth in the GPL.
